THANKS for your generous support last year: $675 was received in dues and donations, $566 was raised at the annual garage sale, and $455 from the raffle of 2 prints.

Major spending last year was $920 for the brick chimney replacement, $485 for insurance, and $55 for minor roof repairs.

Our biggest expense of each year is insurance, followed by electricity, government fees, and distribution of an annual newsletter. Remaining funds are accumulated for maintenance projects, which may vary from large to small. This year we are hoping to paint the south side and the cupola of the schoolhouse.

Currently, the website fees including hosting and domain name registration have been donated by Joe Crockett.

Soap Creek Schoolhouse Foundation Membership

Membership in the Soap Creek Schoolhouse Foundation is open to anyone, regardless of where they live. Annual dues are $10. Members receive notices of activities by email, telephone, or a mailed annual newsletter.  

A board of directors governs the Foundation in keeping with Oregon State regulations for non-profit organizations. Board members must live within the 1938 boundary of the Soap Creek School District 32.
